Events in 2025

We just love going out and about around the county attending Plant Fairs,

meeting new and old customers, showing keen gardeners the best of what we produce.

This also enables us to meet and have a chat with other growers, swapping stories as well as plants.

The first ever event we attended way back in 2008 and one we are always pleased to support.

Lord and Lady Carlisle open the gates to their garden which the public are allowed a very rare opportunity to wander around, and very kindly allow us to set up on the lawns of their lovely home which makes a great backdrop to the event.

An event that we have wanted to attend for ages but it always clashed with other events. so chuffed to be invited back again this year. A very knowledgeable crowd descend on a great selection of local nurseries. With the event being from 10am until 1pm I expect it to be a pretty busy sale.!

Karl gets so busy here I have to leave the nursery for a rare day out to help him and I can see why.

The high street is overflowing with an amazing array of plants and garden related items.

Seeing the High Street crammed with plants people is an absolutely fantastic sight.!

Now in its eighteenth year, the 2023 Plant Lovers’ Day will welcome over 30 specialist plant nurseries. A stunning array of annuals, perennials, shrubs, grasses, trees and succulents will

be available for gardening enthusiasts from across the county to enjoy.

Suffolk Plant Heritage @ Helmingham Hall                        IP14 6EF

 May 25th and 26th 2025

This event is without doubt the most stressful but our most favourite. The crowds just pour into the grounds of Helmingham Hall and we rarely get a chance to sit down during the whole day.

50+ nurseries and garden related stalls all laid out in front of the glorious Hall and a walk around the garden is a must. This is our biggest shop window so its vital I get the plants looking their absolute best and make sure the display is perfect.

 TBC  2025

This event in the Spring was a great success with the visitors showing a great knowledge of plants.

The Autumn event has lots to do including specialist nurseries, members flower competition, plant doctor, books and refreshments. With the event being from 10am until 1pm we expect it to be a pretty busy sale.!

 Sept 2025

This event is a much calmer event than the May one but just as enjoyable. The crowds gently wander around the grounds of Helmingham Hall and we get a chance to catch up with fellow stall holders and chat about how the year has been. 50+ nurseries and garden related stalls all laid out in front of the glorious Hall and a walk around the garden is a must.
